Paul J. Wisniewski, D.O. is a board-certified general and critical care surgeon with extensive leadership experience in trauma systems development, surgical critical care, and military-civilian medical collaboration. He completed his General Surgery residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California, and a Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida.
Dr. Wisniewski has served in key leadership positions throughout his career, including Trauma Director and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Director at Desert Regional Medical Center, and Director for the Navy Trauma Training Center in partnership with USC+LAC. A veteran of the United States Navy and decorated combat surgeon, Dr. Wisniewski deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, and Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he provided advanced trauma care in austere environments.
Currently, Dr. Wisniewski serves as President and CEO of Cutting Edge Surgical Medical Group and Trauma Medical Director at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California. He continues to advance trauma care through education, evidence-based practice, and system efficiency, focusing on improving outcomes in both military and civilian trauma populations.
